The only thing known of Dan's past is that his parents abandoned him in Manzanita Post, and he was found and raised by the Canadian Natives of Wolf Mountain. He was raised and trained to be a killer by the Natives for twenty years, before making his way to Mallory's Ranch and making good friends with Johnny and Roger.

==Early Life==
After living at the ranch for one year, he wanted to fulfil his dream of seeing Mexico. While there he enrolled in Reyes' Rebels, after two months he was betrayed by Reyes and stabbed in the hand, now every time he is near Reyes you can guarantee they'll try and kill each other.

Another notable thing about Dan is that he doesn't ever use a firearm. Dan will always use tribal weapons, and he is AMAZING at archery, throwing tomahawks etc. these skills earned him the nickname Ace.

==Story==
The only time Dan used guns was when he was kidnapped by Reyes in the mines, which led to Dan ploughing through countless Rebels and Miners with pistols, shotguns and knives.

Dan awoke on the roadside, a pool of blood flowing from the back of his head and no recollection of how he got there or who he was. He was next to a beautiful white horse and he had a note carefully placed on his chest, the note read: "You are probably wondering where you are, who you are and why you are on the roadside next to a horse. First of all, welcome to Oregon! You are Dan Harlow, born in Manzanita Post. You may not know this, but you have made quite the enemy with people that are not to be trifled with. The horses name is Ashkii, if you can't remember, this horse has been with your family since you were a child. The chance of you living out in this baking heat are slim, so I suggest you hop on your horse and pray that you find civilisation. Reyes." Dan sat up and tried to get his bearings. He felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, a bullet wound. He touched the back of his head and felt a healing, weeping wound. He looked up at the horse and stood. He jumped on the horse, "Come on, Ashkii." He mumbled. The horse road for hours with the exhausted Dan on her back. They soon came across a small ranch with a barn, a store and a grand house on the outskirts. They road into town and Dan fell from Ashkii with exhaustion. Dan was taken in by [[Jerry Baines]] and nursed back to health. After two days of working at the ranch, Dan was approached by a Mexican man who didn't belong in the ranch. "Are you Dan Harlow?" The tall man asked. Dan stood up, "Who's asking?" Things soon escalated quickly when Dan was punched in the side of the face and was sent flying backwards. Dan landed in a seated position up against his hut and grimaced in pain. The Mexican pulled out a small Volcanic pistol, shot Dan point blank in the shoulder, threw him down and left him for dead. Roger soon found him and him and Johnny tended to Dan's wounds.

When Dan was 17 he set off to Mexico because he heard of a faction that would promise to change everyone's life and overthrow the Mexican government. As Dan didnt agree with any of the governments ideas, he enrolled in Reyes' Rebels. The first attack was to send a message to the government by wrecking Escalera. They started the attack by hurling fire bottles at the walls before proceeding to shoot down the federales. Dan and Reyes burst through the sheriff office door and Dan stabbed his knife into the federales hand, nailing him to the table before back-handing him in the nose. Reyes then procceded to shoot the sheriff in the head. Just a few second later a federal threw a stick of dynamite threw the only window of the sheriffs office, Reyes ran out followed by Dan, they were both blown flying backwards. After a few missions, Reyes led Dan into a large hall. "Well Dan," Reyes sighed, "You have gave us all we need, and I thank you... but, we don't need your Canadian ass hanging around here. Dan... hand in your gun, your poncho and get out of here." Dan was grabbed by two Rebels, "Reyes, what are you doing? I helped you overthrow De Santa." Reyes walked out of the hall and came back with a gagged and bound Luisa. Dan struggled in the Rebels arms, "LEAVE HER ALONE!!" He bellowed. Reyes proceeded to punch Luisa in the face, knocking her to the floor. "You bastard." Dan grimaced. Reyes pulled out his dagger, "So, I'm gonna take this dagger, I'm gonna slit her throat, and then... I will simply let you live in pain, knowing that I, Abraham Reyes, had killed the woman you love." Reyes walked closer to Lusia and stroaked her bruised face. Dan viciously elbowed the Rebel to his right in the nose, and heel kicked the other into a meat hook, impaling the Rebels neck. Dan ran at Reyes and threw a pummelling punch. Reyes dodged and stabbed Dan in the back of the hand and wrenched it down, cutting his hand wide open, Reyes then front kicked Dan, shattering his ribs. Dan screamed in pain and fell to the floor. Reyes laughed and left Dan and Luisa in the hall. As Reyes walked out he set the wooden hall alight. Dan regained conciousness and mustered all of his strength, he lifted Luisa on his shoulders and rescued her.

==Death==

Dan returned to Reyes' camp in Mexico with the Natives bringing down the force of a thousand on top of the Rebels heads. At the end of the fight, Reyes shot down Shadow Bear in front of Dan in cold blood, Dan, filled with rage, ran to Shadow Bear's body and held his corpse in his arms. Reyes walked over to the crouched Dan, "It's over, boy... and, your going down." Reyes smiled, loading his gun. Dan grimaced, "If I'm goin', your comin' with me!" Dan leapt at Reyes, Reyes pulled the trigger and shot Dan in the gut, Dan fell to his knees and Reyes walked backwards. "Dan... your services are no longer required." Reyes fired again but Dan hurled his tomahawk at the same time, Dan was hit in the shoulder and fell, Reyes was struck slap-bang in the centre of his forehead and his lifeless body fell onto the campfire. Dan was dazed, he tripped and fell into the rapids. He washed up near Mallory's Ranch and was found by Roger and Sully. Daniel Tanto Harlow is now buried in the cave atop Nekoti Rock, on his grave it says: "He is now with our ancestors, we worship him as our very own god. Ace." It was written by the tribesmen of Cochinay as a homage to Dan, who was their best warrior.
